How are you keeping the IATs low enough not to pull timing.

Is it stage 3 cams?

Timing at WOT?

I can see where you could get 40-50 more HP thatn mine but you getting 100 more.

Say 15 for the ported lower
20 for the upper pulley
25 for stage 3 cams over stage 2

It amazing what you have done and just curious what I am missing

There are quite a few things that are done to BTJ's truck to achieve its power, great ET's and incredible MPH. I would hate to give away any of these things but here are a few that you might want to consider.

Extrude honed upper and lower intakes
Steig stage 4 ported blower with power fin
Single blade throttle body massaged by me
RUSLOW underdrive pullies
All spark retard is removed in the race tune and its total timing is set at 21* @ 16lbs of boost

There are a couple more that I havent listed but you get the idea. Its an awesome truck for sure and its still the only one to run in the 10's all boost with the HEATON, but I look forward to others doing the same soon. We plan to go even deeper in the 10's with the same combo soon, it will be dropping some weight with my suspension components and gettng a BTS trans over the winter, I am hoping for 10.7's or so with these upgrades. (its still running a stock trans BTW).

:) well, Im still on hold. I have pretty much everhting that can possibly be done to the long block and lower, We spent hours on the lower and made some big improvements. The under drive pulleys are really nice, but a PITA with chaep chinese loaner tools. I used 3 of the to install it.

Thanks for the post JJ

It really is amazing what you did.

My lower can be honed out a lot more after seeing Daves. My upper is done.

I have an LFP port ( we did a 45 minute swap and it made 25 hp) I am sure steigs are better but its what I got a few years back.

Very cool
